Weekly Announcements 5/4/2008 CONFIRMATION: This morning 5 8th grade students will be making their statements of faith and getting confirmed. The 5 students are: Nicholas Benda, Luke Carlson, Krister Edmark, Megan Manninen, and Aubrey Millimaki. ELDERS will meet this Wednesday, May 7th at 6:00 pm and the COUNCIL will meet at 7:00 pm. LIFEWALK 2008: CARE CLINIC’S LIFEWALK 2008 is less than two weeks away. Registration forms are available in the Church office. Join the community of believers and stand up for LIFE in Marquette County. For more information you may contact Jean Carlson at 475-6031. CAMPERSHIPS AVAILABLE: Camperships are available for Summer Camp! Thanks to a special endowment, Camp Luther has funds reserved to provide families in need of financial assistance with half of a camp’s registration fees. To receive a campership, simply check the box on the registration form; please feel free to call Pastor Ott, Amanda, or Camp Luther with questions or assistance. Don’t let finances keep your child from experiencing a week of Christian summer camp! We have two free one-week camps available to children who haven’t been to Camp Luther yet. These are for youth from grades 3-8. THANKS! Thanks to all who helped with our Spring Cleaning around the church yesterday. HIGHWAY CLEAN UP: We will meet at the church today at 5:00 pm to pick up trash on our usual route between Ishpeming and Negaunee.
